The text pages are mostly clean and bright, with the exception of notes taken and a few underlined spots on pages 115-117 (looks like the notes were taken at the site relating to the guidebook) The price clipped dust jacket has large chips missing, especially at the top front panel, edge tears, and generalized wear and tear. The rear dust jacket flap has inked notations added. Laid in is a folded map of the downtown area of Guadalajara. The book includes chapters on Mexico City, study and investigation, Calendar of fiestas, Suburbs of Mexico City, Places at a distance from Mexico City, Historical dates and names, What to read, programs and general information. "Frances Toor (1890–1956) was an American author, publisher, anthropologist and ethnographer who wrote mainly about Mexico and Mexican indigenous cultures. She earned a B. A. And an M. A.
